Another interesting coincidence is that when you add up all the values of the cards with ace as one, 2s as 2, through to kings as 13, you will get a total of 364. When you add a joker card with a numeric value of one, you will get a total of 365, which equates to the total number of days in a year. And if you add one more joker to it, you will get 366, which is equal to the number of days in a leap year!
Regardless of whether this is coincidental or intentional, this symbolism does make for a great story!
