The WRT 2015 (World Rummy Tournament) brand of Pan India Network Limited. The World Rummy Tournament, as the name suggests, is a rummy tournament. Although playing rummy is legal in most parts of India, Pan India Network Ltd. does not at all represent that no restrictions or conditions will be imposed on playing rummy in various states of the country in the future.

  • A player can participate in the tournament only if he/she is 18 years of age or over 18.
  • The tournament will take place parallelly on the internet (on jungleerummy.com) and on ground* (at various gymkhanas/clubs in India).
  • A total of 240 players (qualifiers from the initial rounds) will compete in the final.
  • The Final will be held on board the SuperStar Gemini on 01 March 2015*.
  • The Prize money of Rs.1 crore will be shared by the winners**.

Terms and Conditions of World Rummy Tournament Satellites

  1. The final event prize and package of the World Rummy Tournament is non-refundable and non-transferable, and it cannot be converted to cash.
  2. An individual player can win only one seat to the main event of the World Rummy Tournament.
  3. Players participating in the World Rummy Tournament must be 18 years of age or above, unless specified otherwise.
  4. The players must have a valid passport and all other necessary documents to participate in the final event of the World Rummy Tournament. Arranging the documents mentioned is the players’ own responsibility.
  5. If two or more players play using the same IP address or from the same household they will not be eligible to participate in the rummy satellite promotions.
  6. A player who tries to enter a rummy tournament using more than one account will not be eligible to participate in the tournament.
  7. The prize amounts and the number of prizes for the Qualifiers are indicative and are subject to the number of entries to a particular tournament. And, the prizes are not guaranteed, except where promised expressly.
  8. The use of offensive language at the online tournaments will disqualify a player.
  9. Any player found colluding or soft-playing in the tournament to allow another player to win will be disqualified and his/her account will be frozen.
  10. Any withdrawals requested/made from any winnings at the tournament are subject to Junglee Rummy's standard withdrawal procedure and collusion check.
  11. Players who qualify for satellite promotions agree that the information including their real names, aliases, images spoken/written quotes and/or amounts won can be used for online and offline promotional purposes.
  12. If the passport or visa of a winner of the online qualifier does not get approved, the the WRT Grand Finale ticket, worth Rs.1.4 lakhs, will not be redeemed for cash. The same condition applies if the winner of the online qualifier does not wish to participate in the final event: the ticket will not be redeemed for cash.
  13. Junglee Rummy shall in no way be liable for any injuries, losses, damages or expenses suffered or incurred by any players during or because of the final event of the World Rummy Tournament.
  14. The Junglee Rummy Management reserves the right to cancel or discontinue the satellites or their terms at any time.
  15. The decision of the management of JungleeRummy.com shall be final and binding in case of any disputes.

*All the winners will be paid by cheque in Indian currency.

*The prize money is subject to Tax Deduction at Source as per Indian Laws.

WRT 2015 Code of Conduct

  • 1. If a player is disqualified, he or she shall forfeit all entry fees paid and not be entitled to receive any Tournament prize money or any other prize.
    • I. Under no circumstances will PINL permit any participant to wear any logo (other than the sponsor’s logo), slogan or promotional language of any organization (or any parent, affiliate or subsidiary of any organization) that PINL, acting in its sole discretion, determines:
      • a. Contains any false, unsubstantiated, or unwarranted claims for any product or service, or makes any testimonials that PINL, in its sole and absolute discretion, considers unethical;
      • b. Advertises any non-prescription or over the counter drug, tobacco product, handgun or handgun ammunition;
      • c. Contains any material constituting or relating to a lottery, a contest of any kind in which the public is unfairly treated or any enterprise, service or product that abets, assists or promotes illegal gambling;
      • d. Contains any material that is defamatory, obscene, profane, vulgar, repulsive or offensive, either in theme or in treatment or that describes or depicts repellently any internal bodily functions or symptomatic results of internal conditions, or refers to matters that are not considered socially acceptable topics;
      • e. Advertises any pornographic products;
      • f. Includes any element of intellectual property without the owner’s consent to such use or that may give rise to any claim of infringement, misappropriation or any other form of unfair competition;
      • g. Disparages or libels any person or product;
      • h. Is engaged in (or is alleged to have been engaged in) conduct that PINL deems inappropriate, or which PINL determines could or does negatively impact the business or privileged license of PINL, its parent organization or any of its affiliates;
      • i. Are or might be detrimental or prejudicial to the interests of the WRT or PINL or is otherwise contrary to honest advertising and reputable business in general. This includes, but is not limited to, the name or logo of any person or entity that uses or has used the trademarks, trade names or logos of PINL or its affiliated companies without any written authorization issued by an authorized officer of PINL;
  • 2. The WRT reserves the right at all times to impose a ban on any apparel deemed objectionable by their management/staff, in its sole and absolute discretion.
  • The WRT reserves the right to refuse entry or continued participation in an event to any player who does not comply with the aforementioned apparel rules and code of conduct.
  • 4. The players cannot cover their face or conceal their facial identity. Tournament officials must be able to distinguish the identity of each player at all times and may instruct the players to remove any material that inhibits their identification or is a distraction to other players or tournament officials.
  • 5. The content on the Company website (www.worldrummytournament.com) is provided for information purposes only. No claim is made as to the accuracy or authenticity of the content on the website.
  • 6. The Company does not accept any liability to any person for the information or advice and the use of such information or advice which is provided on the website or incorporated into it by any references herein. The information on the Company website is provided on the basis that all persons accessing the site undertake responsibility for assessing the relevance and accuracy of its content.
  • 7. The information on the Company website is not to be displayed except in the full screen format. No liability is accepted for any information or services which may appear in any other format. No responsibility is taken for any information or services which may appear on any linked websites.

Player’s conduct:

  • I. The competitive integrity of all Tournament play at the World Rummy Tournament is paramount.
  • II. All participants must adhere to the spirit and letter of the Official Rules of the WRT, which forbid play or any action that is illegal, unethical or constitutes cheating or collusion in any form.
    • i. Cheating herein means any act a person engages in to break the established rules of play to gain an advantage.
    • ii. Cheating includes, but is not limited to, acts such as collusion, card stealing, transferring non-value playing cards from one event to another, card marking, card substitution, or the use of any kind of cheating device.
    • iii. Collusion is defined as any agreement between two (2) or more players to engage in illegal or unethical acts against other players.
    • iv. Collusion includes, but is not limited to, acts such as card dumping, soft play, sharing card information with another player, sending signals to or receiving signals from another player, the use of electronic communication with the intent to facilitate collusion, and any other act that PINL and WRT deem inappropriate.
  • III. All the participants are entitled to expect civility and courtesy from one another at every Tournament table and throughout the Tournament area. Any individual who encounters behavior that is not civil or courteous, or is abusive in any way, is encouraged to immediately contact a WRT official. This shall include, but is not limited to, any player whose personal hygiene has become disruptive to the other players seated at the table. As to whether an individual’s personal hygiene is disruptive to other players shall be determined by the Tournament Committee which may, in its discretion, impose sanctions upon any such players who refuse to remedy the situation in a manner satisfactory to the WRT.
  • IV. The WRT will penalize any act that, in the sole and absolute discretion of the company, is inconsistent with the official rules or best interests of the Tournament.
  • V. Anyone found to have engaged in or attempted to engage in any act that in the sole and absolute discretion of the Tournament officials compromises or could compromise the competitive integrity of the WRT will face sanctions imposed by PINL.
  • VI. The nature and extent of the sanctions imposed shall be in the sole and absolute discretion of the WRT and may include, but shall not be limited to the following:
    • Forfeiture of the prize money,
    • Ejection from the tournament,
    • Loss of privilege to participate in the future WRT events,
    • Exclusion from entering the premises of all designated affiliates of the WRT.
  • VII. Any and all violations of this Code of Player Conduct may be publicly disclosed in an effort to deter future violations and to assist other Rummy Tournaments in identifying players who engage in play or any action that is illegal, unethical, or constitutes cheating or collusion in any form. In addition to this, the WRT may impose penalties of any kind or nature upon any person who gives, makes, issues, authorizes or endorses any statement or action having, or designed to have, an effect prejudicial or detrimental to the best interest of the Tournament as determined by the WRT, acting in its sole and absolute discretion.
  • VIII. This may include, but shall not be limited to, expulsion from the event and property, forfeiture of a player?s entry fee(s) and/or loss of the right to participate in this and/or any other Tournament conducted by PINL. Additionally, the WRT may, in its sole and absolute discretion, impose penalties of any kind or nature upon any person who, in the WRT’s view, engages in inappropriate conduct during Tournament play.
  • IX. The WRT, in its sole and absolute discretion, may also disqualify any person from receiving any prize because of fraud, dishonesty, violation of promotional rules or other misconduct by the player during the Tournament or occurring in relation to the World Rummy Tournament, or otherwise reasonable or necessary for PINL to comply with applicable statutes and regulations. The WRT also reserves the right to exclude any individual(s) acting in a manner disruptive, inappropriate or detrimental to the best interests of the Tournament.
  • X. Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage, corrupt or undermine the operation or organization of the WRT may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the WRT reserves the right to seek damages from the person to the fullest extent of the law.
  • XI. The power and right to make all decisions regarding the interpretation of the World Rummy Tournament, player eligibility, scheduling and staging of the Tournament, and penalties for misconduct lie solely with the WRT, whose decisions shall be final and binding.
  • XII. The Company’s employees will make reasonable efforts to consider the best interests of the Tournament and fairness in the decision-making process, with the understanding that ‘the best interests of the Tournament and fairness’ shall be determined by the WRT, acting in its sole and absolute discretion. Unusual circumstances can, on occasion, dictate that the technical interpretation of the rules be balanced against the interest of fairness. WRT decisions shall be final and binding and cannot be appealed against. No claim for monetary damages against the WRT’s decisions can be made, as each participant understands that while rummy is primarily and largely a game of skill, the outcome of any particular hand or event is dependent on many factors including but not limited to the cards dealt, the cards retained and the actions of the other participants.
  • XIII. The WRT prohibits the use of obscene or foul language in any public area of the club at all times. Any player who uses such language or makes a foul, profane, obscene or vulgar statement, or speaks abusively or in an intimidating manner to another player, a dealer or a Tournament staff member, will be penalized. These penalties will be at the sole discretion of the WRT.
  • Excessive celebration through extended theatrics, inappropriate behavior, or physical actions, gestures, or conduct will be subject to penalty. Any player that engages a member of the Tournament staff during the celebration or utilizes any property of the WRT will be penalized in accordance with the conditions described, which will be at the sole discretion of the PINL. The WRT property includes but is not limited to chairs, Tournament tables, and stanchions.
  • XV. Abusive behaviour with any player or staff member will not be tolerated. A player will be disqualified for any abusive behaviour with another player or a staff member, and the player could be asked to leave the property. Repeated etiquette violations such as touching another player’s cards or articles, delay of game and excessive chatter will also result in penalties and disqualification from the tournament.
  • The WRT is subject to all applicable laws of India, rules and regulations, statutory orders including such orders regarding gaming, and all the aspects of the WRT are subject to the approval of appropriate regulatory authorities.
  • XVII. Tournament Rules and any and all changes to the rules and event descriptions for the WRT will be available at the Tournament facilities in the concerned clubs and gymkhanas, as well as on the internet on www.jungleerummy.com & www.worldrummytournament.com
  • XVIII. Where a situation that is not covered by these rules arises, PINL shall have the sole authority to make a judgment, including the imposition of a penalty, in accordance with the best interests of the Tournament and the maintenance of its integrity and public confidence.


Under no circumstances shall Pan India Network Ltd., its employees, associates, affiliates, or representatives be liable for any loss or damages (directly or indirectly) including consequential loss/damages whatsoever whether it is contract, tort or otherwise in course of the tournament and thereafter.
The liability of the disbursement of the Prize Money to the winner shall be the direct responsibility of Pan India Network Ltd.
All Winners will be paid by cheque in Indian currency.
The prize money is subject to Tax Deduction at Source, as per Indian Laws.
The WRT will be held in various states in India except Assam, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. You confirm that you are not accessing the Services to play Cash Games from outside India or from the State of Assam, Odisha, Tamil Nadu or Pondicherry in India.

We may alter or modify the Terms of the Tournament at any time without giving any prior notice to you. We may choose to notify you of some changes to the Terms either by email or by displaying a message on the Company’s website. However, our notification of any change shall not waive your obligation to keep yourself updated about the changes to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website and/or any Services offered constitutes your unconditional acceptance of the modified or amended Terms.

In the event that the tournament is delayed, hindered or prevented by any reason beyond the WRT’s control, the obligation of the company shall be suspended during the period of such occurrences and the company shall not be responsible or liable for any damages or loss.
